Job summary

SEH is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our employee-owned Civil team in Minnesota. You will support planning, design, and delivery of transportation, municipal, and site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D for roadways, trails, and utilities.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and EIT or ability to obtain, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel for meetings and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Ability to collaborate in-office.
• Ability to travel as needed for meetings, client consultations, and site visits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of transportation, municipal, and site development projects.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop designs for roadways, trails, sidewalks, utility systems, and site improvements.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, quantity calculations, cost estimates, and technical reports for public and private infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery.
• Perform site visits, field reviews, and construction observation activities as needed.
• Manage assigned project tasks and communicate progress to project teams and supervisors.
