Job summary

Heggem-Lundquist Paint Company in Denver, CO is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and oversee safety programs on construction sites. This is a full-time on-site role focused on OSHA compliance, safety training, and incident investigations to maintain a safe work environment.

The ideal candidate has a degree or equivalent experience, is bilingual in Spanish/English, and demonstrates leadership and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of field safety experience required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction site safety practices.
• CPR/First Aid certified and certified to train.

Responsibilities

• Report, track and attend follow up appointments as necessary.
• Assist in coordination of safety programs and long-term safety planning.
• Monitor safety standards for all departments and facilities on construction sites.
• Ensure OSHA compliance on 40 to 60 active projects.
• Facilitate communication regarding safety and loss prevention, training, and audits.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and recommend improvements.
• Conduct in-person safety orientation and onboarding.
• Assist management in ensuring compliance with safety standards.
