Job summary

Southland Search Group, a well-established construction firm, is seeking a Safety Manager to lead site safety programs across active projects. You will partner with project leadership and field crews to ensure safety and regulatory alignment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in construction safety, a degree in EH&S or related field (CHST preferred), OSHA knowledge, and travel flexibility. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

4+ years of safety experience in construction.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
CHST certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction standards.
Hands-on with JHAs, risk assessments and investigations.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

Lead and support site safety programs across active projects.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents and crews to ensure safety compliance.
Identify risks early, drive corrective actions, and build a strong safety culture.
