Job summary

Senneca Holdings at the Jeffersonville construction site is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to act as the on-site safety representative during installation and construction projects.

The role enforces OSHA requirements, client safety standards, and GC site safety plans, working with project teams to identify and communicate hazards, document corrective actions, and promote a culture of safety excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Two to five years of construction safety experience on construction sites.
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction certification required; OSHA 510/511 or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary safety resource for field construction teams.
• Conduct daily job-site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies on active sites.
• Investigate incidents and coordinate corrective actions with site teams.
• Maintain training records, inspection reports, and safety documentation.
