Job summary

Chase Doors is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator for our Jeffersonville construction site in Columbus, OH. The role acts as the on-site safety representative, enforcing OSHA requirements, client standards, and GC Site Specific Safety Plans under the direction of the EHS Manager and Site Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED with construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction certification required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.
• 2–5 years of construction safety on active sites.
• Strong communication and collaboration with field teams.
• Fluent in English; Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary safety resource for field construction teams.
• Conduct daily job-site inspections and hazard assessments.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and property damage events.
• Administer JHAs/AHAs and pre-task planning processes.
• Lead safety orientations and toolbox talks and maintain training records.
