Job summary

Superior is seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to ensure on-site safety and incident response at a Jeffersonville, Ohio project. The role involves maintaining safe conditions, investigating accidents, and supporting emergency response on a jobsite in Jeffersonville, OH.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Field Operations, collecting safety records, documenting injuries, validating hazard assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations on large sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of safety experience in construction, OR 5 years of field/project experience on a commercial site, OR a degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• OSHA 10-hour construction training completed.
• OSHA 30-hour construction training is a bonus.
• A safety credential through BCSP (e.g., CHST) or actively pursuing certification is a bonus.
• Electrical construction experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across the jobsite with Field Operations and Project Operations teams, general contractor and trade partners.
• Assist with collecting safety records following training sessions.
• Document injuries, incidents, and near misses.
• Sign daily paperwork to verify hazard and mitigation assessments.
• Monitor large construction sites and enforce safety regulations.
• Complete audits and daily activity reports.
• Stay updated with safety policies and trends and implement new standards as needed.
• Attend all safety meetings on the job sites.
