Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Quality Manager I to own the project quality program, schedule and witness tests, and maintain the ITP and testing logs. You will prepare daily QC reports and NCRs, coordinating with superintendents and engineers of record while guiding junior inspectors on test procedures.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in construction materials testing, with relevant certifications, and the ability to read specs/drawings to develop a practical test schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Must be able to read specifications and drawings and translate them into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and capable of assertively communicating test results to superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan and testing frequency log against specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify technician certifications.
• Write the daily quality control report and meeting records; manage nonconformance reports until closure.
