Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager I to own and manage the quality control program for a project, reporting to a senior quality manager. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and drive nonconformance resolution to closure.

You should have 3+ years in materials testing, ability to read specs/drawings, and strong organizational skills to coordinate field and lab activities and produce thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC role.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings to create a test schedule.
• Direct, organized and able to communicate when a test does not pass.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the ITP and testing frequency log.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests and verify calibrations.
• Write the daily QC report and meeting records (three-phase prep, initial, follow-up).
• Open, track and close NCRs with superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design and material certification files audit-ready.
