Job summary

Aleut Federal, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Manager to provide on-site leadership for the project QC program across the DMV region, including Pax River, Maryland. The role ensures construction activities, materials, documentation, and work meet contract documents and client requirements.

The position requires 7–10 years of progressive QC management in construction, EM-385-1 training, familiarity with OSHA standards, strong reading of prints, and coordination with project teams and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar relevant field; equivalent experience acceptable.
• 7–10 years of progressive quality control management in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods and quality assurance practices.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Procore and RMS; ability to read prints, plans and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project Quality Control Program to ensure compliance with contract documents, plans and specs.
• Perform required inspections of activities, materials and completed work; document findings.
• Review submittals for completeness and conformance; ensure timely submission to client.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to resolve quality issues.
• Identify deficiencies, initiate corrective actions, and verify closure.
• Support project completion and closeout with proper quality documentation and records.
