Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Quality Control Manager to implement and maintain a comprehensive QC program across the project, ensuring adherence to contract specifications, design standards, and regulatory requirements. You will lead field inspections, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and uphold safety and workmanship standards on-site.

Qualifications

Graduate Engineer, Graduate Architect, or Construction Management graduate.
10+ years construction experience with 5+ years in quality control.
Minimum 5 years QC on comparable projects.
Strong understanding of construction methods and inspection techniques.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Fluent in English.
On-site presence required for the duration of contract.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage the project Quality Control Plan (QCP).
Oversee inspections and testing per drawings, specs, and codes.
Maintain records of inspections and corrective actions.
Coordinate with management, engineering, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
Ensure materials and workmanship meet contract standards.
Conduct daily site inspections and document findings.
Serve as on-site QC representative throughout project.
Ensure QC team reads/writes English.
Provide training to QC staff.
