Job summary

BB&E is seeking a dynamic Construction Engineering Technician to support the NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic contract, on-site at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME. You will assist with quality assurance, safety management, and technical support across design and construction activities.

The role requires US citizenship and a CQM certification, with a high school diploma, strong coordination skills, and the ability to work independently on complex field projects within a government environment.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a NACI/CAC are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall coordination of the construction quality management program for assigned projects.
• Review contractor QC plans and provide recommendations toward approval.
• Attend select quality control meetings and monitor three-phase checklists for accuracy and thoroughness.
• Coordinate safety with the Construction Manager and ensure compliance with safety plans and procedures.
• Assist with on-site testing, inspections, and witnessing of critical systems.
