Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Project Manager for our construction division in New York, NY. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance from concept to completion, coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal teams.

You will manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, and reporting while maintaining safety plans and site quality. A Bachelor’s in Engineering/Construction Management with 5–10 years of PM experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or technical training; 5–10 years field experience as a Project Manager with an established construction firm.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs; develop scope requirements; review shop drawings and submittals.
• Experience in construction budgeting, schedules, contracts, change orders, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements, site health and safety planning, and permits coordination.
• Strong communication with external stakeholders (architects, contractors, subs) and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Chart project objectives and plans; set performance requirements; select project participants.
• Oversee construction project in all phases from design through completion.
• Assist with preconstruction tasks including reading plans/specs and contractor qualifications.
• Develop early budgets and schedules; manage project budget and expenses.
• Process contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and payment requisitions.
• Prepare site Health and Safety Plans; ensure safety compliance and site inspections.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including Property Management, Leasing, Asset Management.
• Monitor progress; hold status meetings; ensure documents are complete and reviewed by clients.
