Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to be based in multiple locations in the United States, including Chicago, IL and several others. This role begins in Summer 2027 and involves supporting the Project Management team with construction administration tasks.

Responsibilities include preparing subcontractor reports, coordinating site visits, reviewing documents for approval, and assisting with cost and scheduling to ensure project completion within budget.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and/or similar discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction administration tasks with the Project Management team.
• Prepare subcontractor reports to keep supervision and client informed.
• Participate in site visits and coordinate with the superintendent as required.
• Review and submit documents for approval (Submittals/RFIs).
• Assist costs and scheduling to meet budget and contract requirements.
• Maintain information flow using document control and project management systems.
• Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed.
