Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to be based in the following locations: Chicago, IL, Jacksonville, FL, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Hebron, KY, Indianapolis, IN, Greenwood, IN. Nashville, TN, Tampa, FL. This position begins in Summer 2027.

Responsibilities include assisting the PM team with construction administration, preparing subcontractor reports, site visits, document control, and coordinating with multiple trades to ensure project success within budget and contract terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, CE, SE, ME or similar.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Prior internship in construction preferred.
• Experience on a live construction site and coordination with multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction administration tasks with the Project Management team.
• Prepare subcontractor reports to keep Supervisor and Client informed of progress.
• Participate in site visits and coordinate with the superintendent as needed.
• Review and submit documents for approval (submittals, RFIs, etc.).
• Assist cost estimates and scheduling to keep the project within budget and contract.
• Maintain information flow using document management and project systems.
