Job summary

Span Construction & Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project controls, communications, and the technical facets of construction in the Los Angeles region.

You will work with the Project Manager and stakeholders to ensure projects meet timelines, scope, and safety standards. The role offers hands-on experience in planning, document control, budgeting, and quality assurance with opportunities for career advancement and exposure to diverse projects across the

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project) and Office 365.
• Knowledge of Pre‑Engineered Metal Building and structural steel construction.
• Ability to manage schedules, docs, and budgets with attention to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and objectives.
• Coordinate design, engineering, and construction teams for seamless execution.
• Manage project documentation: contracts, drawings, specs, correspondence.
• Support budget tracking and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and distribute project status reports to stakeholders.
