Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Tempe, AZ site to perform administrative and supervisory duties on construction projects. The role supports coordination with the superintendent, material procurement, and documentation control to ensure project alignment with plans and schedules.

Qualifications include a 4-year technical degree and 5+ years in maintenance/construction with CAD proficiency; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Education – 4 Year degree in a technical discipline
• Experience – 5+ years of maintenance and construction experience; and proficiency with CAD
• Certifications/License: Valid Driver's License
• Education & Experience – An equivalent combination of experience and education can be substituted for the requirements above.

Responsibilities

• Contract Administration
• Quantity reporting
• Document control that includes drawings and specifications, submittals, RFI’s, correspondence, daily reports, and meeting notes stored in the project UFS
• Review submittals for proper coordination and adherence to the plans and specifications
• Attend progress, planning and safety meetings
• Assist with mobilization activities on the project; working with the superintendent
• Perform a variety of tasks associated with completion of the project, including closeout documentation, completion reports and collection of final monies
• Prepare closeout documents
• Support pay request requirements, as assigned
• Preform quantity takeoffs on drawing changes
• Distribute change requests for pricing and schedule impact
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and quality reviews in the UFS
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

4 Year degree in a technical discipline

Associate degree and at least 5 years of maintenance planning and project planning experience in an industrial environment
