Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator in Tempe, AZ, to provide administrative and SAP support for the Production Maintenance Department. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, tracking, and documenting maintenance activities to ensure efficient operations and successful execution of maintenance programs.

The candidate should have at least 5 years of maintenance/production experience, strong SAP proficiency, and CAD familiarity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 4 Year degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance and/or production experience.
• 5+ years of maintenance and construction experience; proficiency with CAD.
• Strong proficiency in SAP is required.
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and preventive maintenance programs preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Planning & Scheduling.
• Utilize SAP to plan, schedule, and manage maintenance work orders.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with planners, supervisors, and operations personnel.
• Monitor work order status, provide updates, and ensure timely completion.
• SAP Administration: Create, update, comment on, and close maintenance work orders in SAP.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) plans and task lists.
• Ensure maintenance records are accurate and up to date.
• Reporting & Documentation: Generate reports and track KPIs; maintain records and audits.
• Communication & Coordination: Attend planning, progress, and safety meetings; collaborate with teams to support objectives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
