On-Site Construction Project Coordinator

Job summary

CORE Construction in Boise, ID seeks an entry-level Construction Professional to support mid- to large-scale commercial projects. The Project Coordinator will liaise between field and project management, keeping documentation organized and current across construction-phase activities and project closeout.

The role works closely with the Project Manager, Assistant PM, and other team members, with responsibilities spanning submittals, RFIs, change orders, and file management.

Qualifications

• Must possess the highest level of integrity and a positive attitude.
• 3+ years’ work experience with a commercial construction, engineering, or architecture company is preferred.
• Basic ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Basic understanding of contracts.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive problem solver who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience or basic understanding of industry software and applications such as Procore, Bluebeam, and DocuSign is a plus.
• Basic understanding of CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods is preferred.
• Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service.
• A valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, and assist with submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
• Assist with RFI documentation to the architect and manage distribution to trade partners.
• Assist with subcontractor change orders and gather Full & Final Change Orders.
• Record and maintain fully executed subcontracts.
• Create and maintain project directories, project files, and related documentation.
• Prepare and compile Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.
• Gather warranty letters and submit closeout letters to subcontractors, including warranty information.
• Coordinate with field and project management teams to ensure project information remains current and organized.
