Job summary

Madison Communities is seeking a proactive Construction Manager to support development and construction on owner-side projects. You will lead day-to-day activities, manage scopes with GC and design teams, and maintain documentation and schedules across ground-up multifamily workstreams.

The role demands 5–8+ years in construction or related fields, with strong scheduling, cost control, and contract administration skills. On-site, full-time with competitive benefits and a focus on excellence.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of construction, project management, owner’s representative services, or related field.
• Experience with ground-up multifamily construction preferred.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods, project scheduling, cost controls, and contract administration.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary construction and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day project execution across ground-up multifamily development.
• Lead coordination with General Contractors, vendors, design teams, and consultants.
• Own document control and workflow management (drawings, submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, logs).
• Track project schedules and critical-path milestones and drive mitigation plans.
• Own pay applications and lender draw coordination, including validation of SVs and inspections.
• Own change order management workflow and internal approvals.
• Attend OAC meetings and site visits to verify progress and quality.
• Coordinate turnover, closeout activities, and warranties.
