Job summary

Buena Vista Construction Company is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the team delivering major Disney World projects. You will guide planning, scheduling, budgeting, and vendor negotiations to ensure on-time, within-budget execution of a multi-million-dollar portfolio.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Construction Management, and collaborate with clients, operations teams, vendors, and project partners across a world-class destination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master’s degree in construction management or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Construction Management team through all aspects of delivering major projects and a multi-million-dollar portfolio of construction projects.
• Work with estimating, scheduling, and resourcing to develop the implementation plan.
• Partner with construction operations and the assigned superintendents in delivering project goals.
• Develop and negotiate subcontractor and vendor agreements.
• Process and project information in the construction management system.
• Lead project team meetings with all involved partners and stakeholders.
• Developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Prepare and present project progress to senior executive leadership.
• Develop metrics and controls to meet project objectives.
• Support team members to be highly effective while developing them for future opportunities.
• Develop and support continuous improvement initiatives.
