Job summary

Ashton North LLC in the United States is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage daily on-site operations, keep projects on schedule, and ensure budget compliance.

You will lead subcontractors, enforce safety standards, review drawings and specs, and coordinate with project managers to resolve issues quickly.

This role requires 5+ years of field experience, OSHA 30, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read plans while guiding field teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and job-site personnel.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily on-site construction activities.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, labor, and materials.
• Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and local building codes.
• Maintain site organization, cleanliness, and productivity.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Monitor progress and proactively address delays or issues.
• Conduct daily and weekly site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Verify completed work before inspections and turnover.
• Enforce all safety regulations and conduct toolbox talks.
