Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Group seeks a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities for diverse projects in Chicago. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or equivalent field leadership role.
• Proven experience in multi-family, rehabilitation, or complex commercial construction projects.
• OSHA 30 (or equivalent safety certification) required or ability to obtain promptly; valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site construction activities from mobilization to closeout.
• Ensure work complies with plans, specs, schedules, and local codes.
• Maintain site progress accountability and manage manpower and production.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations at the job site.
• Maintain daily logs of manpower, inspections, deliveries, and weather conditions.
• Lead meetings with subcontractors and coordinate with project team and owners.
