Job summary

Weis Builders in Chicago is seeking a dynamic Superintendent to lead on-site construction across multifamily and commercial projects. You will drive project timelines, monitor budgets, ensure quality, and coordinate with clients, architects, and vendors to keep projects on track.

You have a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field, 3+ years of supervision experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of construction management or supervision experience, preferably in multifamily projects.
• Experience managing residential, commercial, or industrial projects to completion.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day on-site activities for multiple projects, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow.
• Develop and implement project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met on time.
• Cultivate strong connections with clients, architects, and vendors to drive future business.
• Supervise and direct on-site personnel and subcontractors, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct training sessions, and ensure compliance with OSHA and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures, working with project managers to mitigate financial risks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, providing regular updates.
