Job summary

Per Sé Group in Northbrook, IL is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to own high-end commercial interior projects, from mobilization through completion, with accountability for safety, quality, and schedule.

You will direct subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, keep three-week lookaheads, coordinate inspections and submittals, and work closely with clients and architects to resolve issues and keep the project moving.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of verifiable Superintendent experience.
• Experience with high-end retail TI, restaurant, experiential, or multifamily projects is a plus.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction software.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing construction from mobilization through completion, with responsibility for safety, quality, and schedule.
• Directing subcontractors, consultants, and vendors and making sure the manpower and sequencing are right.
• Managing the day-to-day pace of the work and holding trades accountable when they’re falling behind.
• Catching conflicts between drawings and field conditions before they turn into bigger problems.
• Coordinating inspections, permits, RFIs, submittals, and other details needed to keep the project moving.
• Running subcontractor coordination meetings and maintaining three-week lookaheads and project documentation.
• Working directly with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and keep everyone aligned.
