Job summary

Axalta Front Royal Site is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site construction teams, coordinate with project leads, ensure safety, oversee budgets, and review change orders from non-resident contractors.

You will drive schedules, quality, and efficiency while maintaining One Axalta values and aligning with site operations. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 20+ years in industrial maintenance/construction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma minimum; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 20+ years related experience in Industrial Plant Maintenance or Industrial Construction.
• Extensive experience with General Work/Hot Work/Confined Space Entry/Crane Lift permitting.
• OSHA 30 training preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Project; ability to read drawings and specs.
• Strong project management, planning, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to support project needs.
• Provide periodic updates on construction progress and resolve issues.
• Oversee capital projects or major maintenance projects installing or upgrading equipment.
• Assist in delivering projects safely, on time, and on budget.
• Act as field administrator for construction work at the Front Royal Site.
• Lead construction crews with responsibility for safety, quality, and efficiency.
