Job summary

Ecosystem, an integrated engineering and construction firm, seeks a Construction Manager for the Georgetown Project in Washington, DC. You will influence design and lead on-site execution to deliver a safe, efficient project.

You will oversee safety, subcontractors, and stakeholders at higher-education facilities, balancing cost, schedule, and quality while supporting upgrades with estimates. This role is full-time on site and offers mentorship and growth within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience owning construction projects.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical construction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Team player with resilience and determination.
• Strong organizational and task management abilities.
• Ability to think quickly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements on project sites and contribute to the application of best practices.
• Oversee on-site construction operations, managing subcontractors, client, and stakeholders at higher-education facilities.
• Navigate change/scope creep and solve technical challenges on site, balancing costs, budgets, schedules, and people.
• Support the preparation of project upgrades, including estimates and documentation, for review and presentation to the client.
• Develop an understanding of energy performance measures and sustainability considerations prior to implementation.
• Assist with day-to-day execution of construction activities, helping ensure alignment with budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience.
