Job summary

Ecosystem, based in Washington, DC area, seeks a Construction Manager to lead the Georgetown Project from design through on-site execution. You will guide the multidisciplinary team, coordinate with subcontractors and clients, and ensure build quality, safety, and efficiency.

In this full-time role, you’ll balance budgets, schedules, and resources while delivering a strong client experience and advancing energy performance considerations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ ownership of construction projects.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical construction.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Team player with resilience and determination.
• Ability to think quickly under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements on project sites.
• Oversee on-site construction operations and manage subcontractors, client, and stakeholders at higher-education facilities.
• Navigate change/scope creep and balance costs, budgets, schedules, and people.
• Support the preparation of project upgrades, including estimates and documentation.
• Develop understanding of energy performance measures and sustainability considerations.
• Assist with day-to-day execution of construction activities and ensure alignment with budget, schedule, and quality.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience.
