Job summary

Alston Construction seeks a Superintendent to lead on-site activities in Tempe, AZ, coordinating crews and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. You will ensure adherence to plans, specs, and safety standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Design-build experience on relevant project types.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct onsite personnel and subcontractors to plan, coordinate, and execute work safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Review project plans, specs, contracts, submittals, and as-built drawings to ensure accurate project documentation.
• Proactively schedule and coordinate all subcontractors to meet project milestones and avoid extra costs.
• Monitor subcontractors’ performance to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and quality control.
• Set up project logistics including trailer, equipment, PPE, signage, and safety measures.
