Job summary

Alston Construction is seeking a proactive Superintendent for the Reno, NV project site. You will lead onsite personnel and subcontractors to execute projects safely, on time, and within budget while enhancing client relations and the company image.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, maintaining project records, ensuring compliance with plans and specs, and driving a strong safety culture. Valid license required, and Design-build experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Design-build experience on relevant project types.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, oversee and manage onsite activities to meet goals and schedules.
• Maintain complete as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely completion and adherence to scope and budget.
• Monitor safety, quality control and compliance with codes and contract documents.
• Setup project requirements including trailers, equipment, PPE and postings.
• Prepare accurate daily reports, safety logs, and cost coding.
• Close out projects effectively and address punch lists promptly.
• Support and uphold the company’s safety culture and policies.

Education

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
