Job summary

DEW Construction, located in Manchester, NH, seeks an Assistant Superintendent to supervise field activities and ensure contracts, safety, budget, and schedule goals are met. You will help manage self-perform work, plan and coordinate on-site activities, and mentor on-site personnel.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in construction and ability to read plans and specs.
• Experience with healthcare, commercial, education, industrial or retail projects is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to negotiate and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Attend turnover, planning, closeout and pre-construction meetings with subs, vendors, owner and architect.
• Lead field activities to meet contract requirements, safety, budget and schedule goals.
• Coordinate on-site activities and supervise DEW and subcontractor personnel.
• Submit weekly/daily timecards and cost code materials accurately.
• Maintain on-site safety, quality control, and document procedures.
