Job summary

Responsibilities

• Interpreting work orders and determining materials required.
• Using equipment and tools to perform basic construction tasks.
• Follow the rules of safe conduct at all times.
• Read and use standard and/or metric rulers for measurement.
• Demonstrate safe usage of power tools and hand tools for the job.
• Work with a craft person and assist as needed.
• Identify and select appropriate materials for specific crafts.
• Understand crane hand signals and follow instructions.
• Perform manual excavation as required.
• Ensure all safety equipment required by OSHA and client is used.
• Prepare and clean construction sites to minimize hazards and follow waste guidelines.
