Job summary

Wohlsen Construction Company is seeking a Construction Laborer to support our carpentry team on site. You will assist with building, demolition, material handling, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Reporting to the Carpentry Supervisor, you will unload materials, help carpenters, perform demolition, and participate in safety trainings while collaborating with field staff and subcontractors to move projects forward.

Qualifications

• At least one year in construction preferred.
• Able to lift and transport tools or materials on site.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and organize materials on site.
• Assist carpenters with tasks as directed.
• Perform demolition work as required.
• Dig holes for signs and other miscellaneous needs.
• Conduct final cleaning at project completion.
• Signal equipment operators to ensure safe operation.
• Lift, carry, and hold building materials and tools for carpenters.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work areas.
• Erect scaffolding, shoring and bracing as needed.
• Sweep and mop job sites to maintain cleanliness.
• Collaborate with field employees and subcontractors.
• Perform various construction activities as directed.
• Attend mandatory safety training sessions.
• Use steam or sand for cleaning, coating or sealing surfaces.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safe construction practices.

Position Overview

As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our carpentry team in various tasks essential to the construction process. • Mopping and sweeping job site to maintain cleanliness.
• Collaborating with fellow field employees and subcontractors.

Qualifications
