Job summary

COMPANY NAME: 5D1 is seeking a General Construction Laborer to support on-site construction tasks in a physically demanding role. You will assist skilled tradespeople, handle tools and materials, and maintain clean, safe work sites in varying weather conditions.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn new skills to contribute to project completion. Reports to the Foreman and follows all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding labor; able to perform tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• General laborer with gas certifications/OQ's but not capable of fusions or operating equipment.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring devices as needed.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Strong teamwork and ability to follow instructions to ensure safety.
• Safety-oriented and able to wear PPE and follow OSHA policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks.
• Load, unload and move construction materials, tools and equipment.
• Prepare and clean construction sites, including debris removal.
• Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete.
• Follow OSHA safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Perform basic measurements accurately.
• Support site organization by keeping tools and equipment in proper storage.
• Other construction tasks as assigned.
