Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical labor

• On-the-job training provided prior to work

Responsibilities

• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards
• Load, unload, or identify materials and tools and distribute them accordingly
• Control traffic near work zones with training provided
• Signal equipment operators to align or move machinery as needed
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and level earth using basic tools
• May enter trenches or confined spaces after training
• Comply with safety guidelines as directed by Foreman/Supervisor

Education
