Job summary

Wohlsen Construction is seeking a Construction Laborer to support the carpentry team on diverse on-site tasks. You will report to the Carpentry Supervisor and assist with material handling, demolition, and site cleanliness to ensure safe, efficient project progress.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in construction and can lift and move tools and materials. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on participation across project phases.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of construction experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and transport tools and materials on site.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and organize materials on site.
• Assist carpenters with tasks as directed.
• Perform demolition work as required.
• Dig holes for signs and miscellaneous needs.
• Conduct final cleaning at project completion.
• Signaling operators of equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Lift, carry and hold materials and tools for carpenters.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
• Erect scaffolding, shoring, and bracing as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness through mopping and sweeping on site.
• Collaborate with field staff and subcontractors.
• Attend mandatory safety training sessions.
