Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Construction Intern to join our team in Marina, CA. You will work with a dynamic group of construction managers and engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects, supporting proposals and different project phases both in the field and in the office.

You will primarily assist the project team and participate in field activities, with PPE required. Intern will need to provide their own transportation to the jobsite located in Marina, CA.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelors or a masters in Construction Management or a related discipline is required.

Responsibilities

• Support proposals and projects in the field and the office.
• Assist field crew with measurements, mobilization, and project documentation.
• Support the project manager, superintendent and construction specialists.
• Contact subcontractors and vendors to review project documents and attend meetings.
