Job summary

TYLin in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Construction Engineer to work on Transportation Road & Highways projects on-site, inspecting construction activities, verifying that contractor work aligns with contract documents, and performing material testing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience inspecting bridge and roadway construction projects.
• ATTI, ACI and ATSSA certifications preferred.
• Experience with contract documents, plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily inspection reports, material sampling and testing for acceptance.
• Verify traffic control complies with State and Local Standards.
• Document contractor manpower and equipment and progress payments.
• Draft change orders and track payments.
• Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
