TYLin is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector for on-site work across Arizona transportation projects. You will monitor field investigations, verify contractor findings, and report to the Resident Engineer from our Phoenix-area office.

Role requires inspecting bridges and roadways, maintaining daily documentation, and drafting change orders while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. The position supports our PMCM team across multiple sites in Arizona.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of experience in the inspection of bridge and roadway construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• ATTI, ACI and ATSSA certifications preferred.
• Client-focused with integrity and collaboration in diverse teams.

Responsabilités

• Complete daily inspection reports, materials sampling and testing for acceptance.
• Confirm traffic control complies with State and Local Standards.
• Assure documentation and accuracy of daily findings.
• Daily documentation of contractor manpower and equipment.
• Draft Contract Change Orders and final estimates.

This position will require extensive knowledge of Bridge, Roads & Highway construction inspection. The position will be on-site in the field office and involves monitoring field investigations, verifying and documenting the contractor’s finding and promptly and regularly reporting the information to the Resident Engineer. This position will be based out of our office in Phoenix, AZ and will be expected to work in various areas throughout Arizona.This posting is intended to gather expressions of interest from the Senior Construction Inspector position for anticipated opportunities expected to arise over the next 3-6 months. While an immediate vacancy may not be available, we are building relationships with talented professionals who are interested in joining our growing PMCM team as new projects and hiring needs materialize.Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities:Complete daily inspection reports, materials sampling and testing for acceptance.Confirm traffic control complies with State and Local Standards.Assure documentation, and accuracy of daily findings.Daily documentation of contractor manpower and equipment.Abide by and enforce construction safety rules and regulations.Read and understand contract documents, including plans and specifications.Assure compliance with standards and specifications.Assure documentation, and accuracy of monthly progress payments.Assist in the documentation of pay quantities and development of the Final Estimate.Draft Contract Change OrdersAccurately track change order payments.Log and track material inspection, certification, and acceptance for the project.Other duties as needed.Qualifications:At least 2+ years of experience in the inspection of bridge and roadway construction projects.ATTI, ACI and ATSSA certification preferred.Previous internship experience in the inspection of bridge and roadway construction projects.Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.Reliable transportation required and may be required to work holidays and/or nights and/or weekends.A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering preferredAdditional Information#LI-DNPTYLin offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
