Job summary

You will assist with billing, accounts payable, project ledger audits, and monthly close activities, enabling accurate project costs and contract compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• General knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist accountant to ensure client billing and accounts receivable requirements are met.
• Audit client billing and project ledger for compliance with contract requirements, GAAP and policy.
• Process accounts payable for vendor invoices and subcontractor invoices; ensure lien waivers and contracts/insurance are in place.
• Contribute to monthly close by posting or accruing client bills and project costs.
• Provide monthly asset and rental updates for insurance documentation with project team.
• Assist with project financial closeout and final contract amount documentation per subcontractors.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
