Job summary

Best Upon Request is seeking a Concierge to support employees at a corporate client in Grand Rapids, MI. This on-site role involves running errands, managing shopping and shipping, coordinating on-site services, and delivering proactive, personalized service across the workday.

The person will work in a two-person team, drive to various locations, and handle requests via multiple channels while keeping data accurate in Salesforce and the POS system.

Qualifications

• Experience: at least one year in fast-paced customer service; hospitality/concierge a plus (3–5 years preferred).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; vehicle insurance required; background check/drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Off-Campus Errands — run errands using your own vehicle; mileage is reimbursed.
• Shopping & Shipping — use retailer apps for curbside pickup; manage shipping/returns end-to-end.
• Auto Appointments — schedule repairs/oil changes/washs; manage service visits.
• On-Campus Services — coordinate on-site services from local vendors.
• Convenience Services — maintain stamps/cards; sell tickets to attractions.
• Travel, Events & Research — plan getaways/events and research gifts/partners.
• Engagement & Outreach — promote services and discounts; support on-site events.
• Teamwork — collaborate with teammates to share workload and ensure seamless service.
• Requests & Documentation — respond by phone/email/app; log all requests in Salesforce and POS.
• Every Day — protect confidential information; adapt as tasks evolve; uphold BEST values.
