Job summary

Mercy Housing is seeking a Community Coordinator for Cranes Landing in Denver. This on-site role involves supporting resident wellbeing, assessing needs, and guiding residents to services.

You will manage visitor logs, respond to inquiries, and coordinate community activities with the site team. The position offers a schedule of four days per week, ten hours per day (Wed-Sat or Sun-Wed), with pay ranging from $23 to $24 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work experience in social services or customer service.
• Experience applying the principles of conflict management, and organizing groups, events, or programs.

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate log of all visitors to the property by recording the name of the visitor(s).
• Convey accurate information to the appropriate authorities, as necessary.
• Fulfill office functions: answer phones, respond to property inquiries, respond to emails, etc.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of residents to offer residents access to services and resources.
• Identify and develop strategies to link residents with needed services.
• Work with site team and residents to develop activities program and gatherings.
• Respond to emergency situations by calling the appropriate emergency services.
• Collaborate with the site team to develop annual property plans and engage residents.
