Job summary

FirstService Residential in Annapolis, MD seeks an Assistant General Manager to oversee specific community operations and report directly to the General Manager. The role includes supervising office staff, front desk personnel, and security, while coordinating board materials and agendas.

The position requires hands-on management across facilities and services, vendor liaison, and on-site leadership for information systems. Occasional meetings and emergency response responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years management experience, preferably in property management.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversees all Management Office administrative staff, Front Desk Services and Security.
• Coordinate posting of meeting agendas and board packages.
• Conduct daily supervisory inspections with the GM and Facilities Director.
• Interact with vendors to ensure contracted services are received as agreed.
• Oversee on-site operations including the Management information systems.
• Attend weekday committee meetings or events and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Serve as on-site lead for management systems and communications.
