Job summary

Open Management is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager for our manufactured housing community in Tallahassee, FL. You will lead on-site operations, enforce rules, manage rent collections, and coordinate repairs to maximize occupancy and performance.

The role requires strong customer service, organization, and collaboration across teams. Prior property management experience is preferred, with training provided to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use computer systems proficiently; will be trained on specific systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Negotiation skills for vendor relations and home sales.
• Previous property management or project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rent collections, issue late notices, and file evictions as needed.
• Enforce park rules to keep a safe, clean environment for residents.
• Monitor park income and expenses to meet financial targets.
• Oversee on-site operations including maintenance and park improvement projects; manage vendor relationships.
• Coordinate repairs and renovations in a timely manner.
• Show available homes to prospects to generate excitement and occupancy.
• Manage resident move-ins/outs including applications; ensure smooth processes.
• Establish rental rates via market surveys and analyses to stay competitive.
