Job summary

Open Management is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for our manufactured housing community in Tallahassee. The role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and enforcing park rules while coordinating rents, maintenance, and vendor relations.

You will work onsite, participate in weekly management meetings, and help achieve occupancy targets. We offer a competitive hourly rate, PTO, holidays, medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and customer service skills with residents and teams.
• Ability to enforce park rules and manage budgets and improvements.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to learn new computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rent collections and notices, and file evictions as needed.
• Enforce park rules to ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Monitor income/expenses to meet financial targets.
• Oversee on-site operations including maintenance and vendor relations.
• Coordinate repairs and renovations in a timely manner.
• Show homes to prospects and manage move-ins/outs.
• Set rental rates using market surveys and analysis.
• Support marketing to drive occupancy and lead follow-up.
• Demonstrate leadership and proactive team collaboration.
