Job summary

Asset Living is a fast-growing property management partner with a nationwide portfolio. The Community Manager will oversee operations of a housing community on-site, supervising staff, leasing, budgeting, and vendor management while ensuring safety, fair housing compliance, and exceptional resident service.

Responsibilities include daily on-site leadership, staff coaching, scheduling, budget creation, and performance monitoring, with emphasis on resident satisfaction, marketing plans, and timely

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Coach and develop staff through ongoing training and guidance.
• Prepare weekly/daily office & maintenance staff schedules and assignments.
• Address performance issues and document accordingly; escalate to HR as needed.
• Promote harmony and quality job performance through leadership.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Monitor rent deposits, collections, and charges for timeliness.
• Reconcile vendor invoices promptly and accurately.
• Head emergency team and respond to property incidents per guidelines.
• Ensure property appearance and timely repairs; supervise make-ready work.
• Plan and manage resources, bids, and vendor relationships.
