Job summary

TRG Management Company is seeking an on-site Leasing Consultant to support our affordable housing portfolio. You will attract tenants, show units, negotiate leases, and help manage budgets and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years on-site leasing experience, CAM/ARM/COS credentials, strong PC skills and Fair Housing certification. This role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and contributes to a collaborative, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years on-site as a Leasing Consultant and/or 3 years supervisory experience in a customer service related business with appropriate certification(s).
• Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
• Competence in PC skills, keyboard, internet search, math, and MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook; plus community software.

Responsibilities

• Survey local competition to set market and rental rates.
• Advertise vacancies and show units to attract tenants.
• Negotiate leases and collect security deposits.
• Forecast requirements and assist in annual budgeting.
• Address tenant complaints and enforce occupancy rules.
• Supervise maintenance and building systems.
• Contract with security services and respond to emergencies.
• Enforce policies and confront violators.
• Prepare reports analyzing data and trends.
• Update job knowledge through education and professional networks.
• Accept new requests and seek value-added opportunities.
