Job summary

Eden Housing is seeking a Community Manager II for Owls Landing Apartments in Livermore, CA. The role oversees property operations, staff supervision, leasing, budgeting, and resident services to maintain a well-managed community.

The position requires a High School degree or equivalent and experience in affordable housing management. On-site responsibilities include maintenance coordination, occupancy upkeep, regulatory compliance, and vendor oversight.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in affordable housing management, including one year of staff management, maintenance and project reporting.
• Willingness to learn and troubleshoot preventive plumbing, electrical and landscaping issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Word and Excel; Yardi software knowledge is a plus.
• Oversees a minimum of 70 units.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance and janitorial staff and vendors to ensure quality work.
• Schedules preventative maintenance and monitors work orders.
• Maintains full occupancy and markets units per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Reviews leases and applicant screening for policy compliance.
• Prepares budget reports and financial statements; manages financial records.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and fair housing requirements.
• Manages staff and coordinates resident services and community programs.
• Represents the property to local social service agencies and funding sources.
