Job summary

Dominium is seeking an on-site Community Manager for Five Mile Creek, a 236-unit community in Dallas, TX. The role oversees day-to-day operations, occupancy, billing, resident relations and staff performance to ensure a well-managed, welcoming community.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with Human Resources, maintain budgets, and ensure compliance with housing programs and regulations while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree (4-year preferred) in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Three years of multifamily property management experience required; tax credit experience preferred.
• Accounting and administrative background preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; second language a plus.
• Reliable with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to think independently, work with minimal supervision, and coach/mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily property operations and ensure curb appeal and cleanliness.
• Meet with staff on occupancy goals, renewals, and projections; conduct performance reviews.
• Hire and terminate staff per policy; maintain attendance and performance records.
• Resolve resident issues and maintain resident relations.
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing, and compliance with accounting directives.
• Collect rent and manage move-ins/move-outs with accurate inspections.
• Process applications per housing programs (Section 8, Vouchers, etc.).
• Follow safety and audit procedures; report accidents and address audit findings.
• Supervise contractors and enforce company policies and manuals.
• Stay informed on federal, state, and local regulations related to management.
