Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph, MO, is seeking a Communications Representative to handle inbound calls, transfer calls, and page messages to caregivers to support patient care in emergent and non-emergent situations. You will greet OB patients and assist with security check-ins for OB visitors.

You will monitor alarms, notify pharmacy and on-call caregivers, direct visitors, and maintain logs and process improvements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience handling multi-line phone systems and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones and directs calls to proper destinations.
• Liaises using multiple forms of telecommunication to relay information.
• Contacts on-call caregivers to facilitate patient care.
• Monitors alarms and notifies designated staff.
• Greets OB patients and conducts security check-ins.
• Directs visitors and answers patient information questions.
