Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking a field-based HVAC service technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and startup commercial HVAC systems at customer sites. You will work with team leaders, project managers, and customers to understand requirements and ensure installation quality.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 5+ years HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA Certification.
• Technical school or formal training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Direct customer contact and manage products/equipment on projects to ensure satisfaction.
• Use software, blueprints, and hand-tools to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends; occasional overnight stays.
• Enforce safety standards and manage company assets and records.
